We collect the information you provide when you create an account (such as your email address and username), the presentations and files you create or upload, and usage data such as deck views and basic analytics. If you connect a social login, we receive your email and profile basics from that provider.
2. How we use information
We use your information to operate and improve the Service, host and render your published decks, process payments, provide AI assistance you request, communicate with you about your account, and keep the Service secure.
3. AI processing
When you use AI features, your prompts and the relevant deck content are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party models beyond what is necessary to return your result.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme and editor layout. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
5. Service providers
We share limited data with the providers that help us run the Service: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI features), Sentry (error monitoring), Mailtrap (transactional email), and Fly.io (hosting and storage). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
6. Public decks
Decks you publish publicly are accessible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines. Use private or password-protected decks (available on paid plans) for content you don't want publicly accessible.
7. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete a deck or your account, we remove the content, though copies may persist briefly in backups before permanent deletion.
8. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by managing your account or contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and hashed API tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
